For one of our clients, a company that develops technologically advanced platforms which are accessed by thousands of users every minute, we are currently looking for a Fraud Data Engineer to join their team in Barcelona.

The Data Engineer will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining robust data infrastructure to support use cases such as fraud detection but also general data engineering.

In a nutshell

• Develop and maintain pipelines: build and maintain efficient, scalable data pipelines for use cases such as fraud detection
• Support fraud analytics: enable analysts and product teams to identify and address emerging fraud patterns through engineered datasets
• Integrate detection models: collaborate with teams to operationalise external fraud detection models and integrate them into the data infrastructure

Python, SQL, Airflow, DBT, ETL/ELT, ML (SageMaker, MLflow), Tableau, CI/CD…

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis or engineering
• Hands-on experience developing fraud detection data pipelines or systems (e.g., credit card fraud, account takeovers)
• Familiarity with integrating third-party fraud detection solutions or models
